  • Manage accounting and financial functions of the business, including processes, controls employees and software, needed to deliver first rate financials on time.

  • Review company’s monthly/quarterly reports, analyze financial results, identify key trends, update forecasts, assess risks and opportunities, and communicate key messages to company leaders and stakeholders

  • Provide strategic support for CEOs, board members, and other senior leaders as they review company results and engage in financial planning, cash management and fundraising.

  • Develop financial models and key metrics that support company’s strategic direction.  These may include KPIs such as profitability, margin breakdown, marketing ROI, revenue and sales productivity by channel, customer retention and cost savings opportunities.

  • Assist in fundraising, M&A, due diligence, banking, investor relationships and other “outward facing” financial communication

  • Analyze technology, processes and team needed to deliver financial and accounting functions in most efficient and effective manner and make improvements as needed.

  • Advise on and support the implementation of the systems and processes that will help scale the company’s operations (revenue and billing tools, CRM, inventory management systems, etc.)

  • Develop and manage relationships with outside partners/vendors – including tax accountant, legal counsel, banks, software, etc.

WHY HIRE A FRACTIONAL EXECUTIVE?

A fractional CFO or COO is an experienced executive who oversees finance and accounting, as well as joins your executive team to improve your business.  Just like a full time CFO or COO – but you are only using (and paying for) a “fraction” of that person.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

ROBBIE RECH

Robbie Rech, the founder of RP Consultants, spent 20 years advising and running successful startups before RP Consultants. 

​

He co-founded his first startup, CampRegister.com, in his dorm room at Stanford University. It was an incredible learning experience and ultimately was very successful, although it took multiple twists and a lot of hard work.”  Since then, Robbie has worked with both large and small startups as an advisor, investor, coach, and CEO.  These companies include HOPE Foods, a natural/organic dip brand, and Peak 7 Adventures, a not-for-profit company serving youth in guided outdoor adventure experiences. "I have had spectacular successes, and I have had spectacular failures.  The important thing is always be learning, and to build your company from strong principles of vision, execution, taking care of people and measured improvement."
